So, I don't want to come across as a gift grubber, because no one has to buy us anything for Papaya, and we're so amazed and grateful for the wonderful things she's already gotten. But, since we have a shower coming up, I've been making sure our registry is stocked with the things we need, in case anyone needs ideas. And, just in case anyone still doesn't have an idea, I am a little bummed that Carter's is discontinuing the bedding set we want and it's no longer available at Babies-R-US, and there are only 19 left on Amazon.com.
See, we originally had registered for a set that was just really busy and a little over-the-top with animal characters. We wanted to do a jungle theme, but the ones we found were just too much... So after searching around, we found this really cute elephant-only, simpler set, which BRU doesn't seem to care about anymore. Probably because it's an older set that has bumper pads which you're not supposed to use anymore. And we wouldn't use them. But the rest of it is adorable! We found them on Amazon, but seems like they are also getting harder to find.
Other things that BRU has discontinued from this set are:
The crib sheet
The hamper
And the valance.
They still carry a few of the other items to order from their website, but these they are out of. So, if anyone out there wanted to get us something and was stumped, these are on our Amazon registry, and it seems like they are are going fast! If we don't get them, there are other options out there, of course. We just liked the simplicity of these compared to the other stuff we saw.
