Evie started ballet this week. She was promoted to the Level 3 class so she is in a new beautiful blue leotard. She has 4.5 hours of rehearsal every week (2 hours on Tuesday, 2.5 hours on Saturday), so the intensity is increasing, but she absolutely loves it.
After her first ballet class on Saturday, we headed to Little Rock for 30 hours, just to get out of town for a bit. We stopped first at the zoo, then checked into our hotel before going to an escape room and dinner at Chuy's.
Getting a better view of the tiger
We did not escape our escape room. It was not as well designed as the others we've done and we were frankly pretty disappointed in the quality of the place, but that all sounds like an excuse. We failed.
Sunday morning, we walked over to a donut shop and took our breakfast to the riverside park where there were many climbing opportunities for Evie to enjoy.
Howling with the wolf sculpture
We ate lunch at a place called All Aboard with the gimmick that they deliver your meal by train. And then we went to the Clinton Presidential Library.
President Evie
And we got a little ice cream on our way out of town.
