Evie joined her Grammy, her aunties, Seth, and I for her first trip to the theatre. We saw "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" at the Nashville Children's Theatre this afternoon, and she was fascinated by all of the action. She did great and was watching the actors, looking around at the lights and exit signs, and observing the faces of the other children in the audience. She was entertained for the first 30 minutes or so, and then nap time needs set in. The theatre is very, very kid-friendly and had a viewing room in the back that is sound-proof, with audio feed piped in, so I could still sit and watch the show while feeding Evie and lulling her to sleep. She slept through intermission and another 15 minutes of the 2nd half, but then she was happy participant again until the show was over. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
Here we all are before the show, excluding Grammy who was taking the picture (thanks for the pic, Grammy!)
And here's one of Evie waiting for us to go in to see the play.
