My Frustrated Foot

Since we are at home, Evie has taken on some more household chores and one that she loves to do is brush the dogs.  Siouxsie the poodle is able to be groomed inside, and of course she goes to a professional groomer once a month.  Edison has to be brushed outside because his coat sheds like crazy.  Evie's doing a very good job of caring for them every day.

Like many other people, we haven't left the house much, but we decided on Wednesday to venture out to Home Depot to get some things to fix up the house and we were going to need two adults to carry it all, so the whole family went.  We had all ordered neck gaiters because my attempt at making homemade masks wasn't quite good enough.  So here we are, each sporting our own gaiter fashion.

Evie has been doctoring up a toe infection that started when she attempted to deal with an ingrown nail all on her own.  Every day, three times a day, we have to let her soak her foot in hot water, apply antibiotic ointment, and cover it with a bandaid.  When we were walking somewhere, Evie was kind of lagging behind and I asked her why she was being slow and she pointed at that leg and replied "Because this is my frustrated foot!"

Seth took a turn at making lunch this past weekend.  He and Evie share quite a love of ramen noodles.
