Drive In

We had a really great weekend.  We just hung out at home mostly.  We set up Evie's tent that she hasn't used since she was about two, and we made her a pallet in the bottom where she could comfortably sit inside and watch a movie.  Edison joined her, though I think he was mostly motivated by the popcorn.

Monday night when we went to the drive in movie theatre.  We love going to the movie theatre and miss being able to do it, and the drive-in opened up here last weekend, so we decided to go there on the anniversary of our first date.  It was Evie's first time to go to the drive in, and I haven't been there since 1994 or so.  

We had a great time and Evie wanted to go again Tuesday night.

We haven't done much this week because we are both ready for a break after getting through 9 weeks of makeshift school.  Most of the summer camps we signed up for are closed due to coronavirus, and so I've been letting her just entertain herself mostly this week.  Next week she has CLUE camp which will give her a lot of structure, and then we'll get to a daily routine of working a little each day.
