Annalisa's visit

Well, Evie rallied from her illness last Friday night and we had a good time on Saturday going to get some lunch together and just hanging out until she went to spend the night with Kathy and Rickie while Annalisa, Seth, and I went out for Annalisa's birthday.

Sunday we just hung around some and then Monday while she was out for MLK Day, we took Evie to the mall where she got a new Build-a-Bear (she has been begging to get another one for two years).  She chose a corgi and named him Ed.

Unfortunately, Annalisa had to cut her visit short due to a family emergency so we picked up Evie from school on Tuesday and Annalisa told her goodbye while we took drove to the airport.  Evie handled it better than I had thought she might.  She and Annalisa are close and always get even closer when Annalisa comes to visit.

Wednesday, Evie started her new session of tap class.  There are only 2 other girls in the class and I'm honestly surprised they haven't canceled it, but they seem committed, and I really appreciate that Evie's getting extra attention with such a great teacher/student ratio.

We have started talking about what our summer schedule will be already!  Evie is signed up for Ninja Warrior Camp so far.  Also on the list are Nature Camp, Theatre Camp, and maybe a Hip Hop Camp.  It'll be here before we know it...
