Workouts and Language Funnies

This week was pretty par for the course for us, finally.  We celebrated Grandma Jeanne's 89th birthday on Sunday, then Evie came home and wanted to do my workout with me.  I love being able to include her, though she sometimes gets bored with what the workout video is doing and makes up her own stuff:

I have a couple of language funnies to share from this week:

• While writing on the chalkboard wall, I asked Evie was she was doing.  She replied "I'm scratching up another idea."
• Monday after school, Evie says, "It's boring being lonely."  I said, "Lonely?  But you're here with me."  She said, "Well, being a lonely child."  I said, "Do you mean being a only child?"  She said, "That too."
