Starring Evie Mayne

Our big event this week was Evie's theatre performance.  She's been taking classes at our local professional theatre for the last couple of years, and at the end of each trimester, they have a little showcase of their work.  Evie was in two classes this time, so she was Owl in a Winnie the Pooh story, and she was a made-up superhero (which was the theme of their class) in her musical theatre class.  Video below.

Granna, Grannadaddy, Kathy, Rickie, and Grandma Jeanne joined Seth and me in the audience and as we were leaving, Evie escorted Grandma down the hallway.  She's such a sweet girl!

After her performance, we had to rush off to ballet for her rehearsal for The Nutcracker where they were staging with the adult cast.  Then another quick turnaround for Evie to go to Desmond's birthday party.  She and Seth stayed at the party very late, because Evie and Desmond didn't want to say goodbye to each other.  They don't get to see each other more than a few times a year, and yet they both still plan to get married.  It's been a three year engagement now!

Tonight, we went to Granna and Grannadaddy's house to help cook for Thanksgiving.  I remember going to Grandma Jeanne's house the day before Thanksgiving to help with the cooking, and I'm glad we're continuing that tradition with Evie.

I had to throw in this picture of Evie and Siouxsie hanging on the couch.
