Mouse in the Snow

We had a really fun opportunity this weekend for Evie to participate in a photoshoot to publicize the Nutcracker production she'll be in in December.  She and some other classmates were asked to come to a local grocery store where they wore their mouse costumes and pretended to steal some cheese from the deli.

She's so mischievous!

Before we ran off to the photoshoot Sunday, we had lunch with Cristal, Nathaniel, and baby Lydia.  Evie is absolutely enamored with Lydia and constantly tries to soothe her.  Look at this concerned expression on her face because Lydia won't stop crying.

Today we had an unexpected weather event in Memphis: snow in November.  We get snow some years, but more often it's ice, and it usually comes in January or February.  So all the kids were excited when it started snow this afternoon.  Fortunately, it didn't impact the roads and school wasn't closed.

Evie and Siouxsie had to go play outside in the snow
