Our school year is winding down and I absolutely love this time of year! On Thursday, Evie's class had a field trip about 2 hours away. I was able to chaperone this group of six through their adventures at the playground, playing on the old army equipment, sliding down the 4 story slide, and playing in the water.
Friday, they had field day. And now we only have one more week of school!
Yesterday we went with Granna and Grannadaddy to the Interactive Van Gogh exhibit, which was really neat. Evie perked up at different points when she recognized different works of art that we had seen at the National Art Museum in D.C. and pictures she's seen in her school books.
