Our big event this week was going to Zoo Boo. We met Sasha's parents there and the girls trick-or-treated and rode a few rides before it was time to go our separate ways because Sasha's family had plans for later in the evening. Evie, Seth, and I stuck around for quite some time and watched the magic act, went through the hay maze, and had a dance party. The joint effort with Sasha and Evie pointed out their differences: Sasha, the quiet introvert, was upset when all eyes were on her because her mother announced that Sasha had lost her first tooth; whereas Evie, the fearless extrovert, was upset that she wasn't chosen to go on stage during the magic show. But we all had fun.
Yesterday afternoon, Evie told me she wanted Herbie to sit in her lap. He's lost quite a bit of weight, but he's still quite a large pug. This was the result:
Tonight, Granna had a craft that captured Evie's attention: they painted two sides of a wooden pumpkin cut out that had a jack-o-lantern face and a battery operated votive candle inside of it. I love these moments.
