Well, it's the last week of summer camp. Our public schools go back on Monday, but Evie is out until later in August so her summer isn't over, but her structured activities and day-time care will end on Friday. This week, we went to see The Little Mermaid musical, which was wonderful. Evie had a good time, but she had a lot of questions about the differences between the movie and the play.
Seth started a new job this week so we finally have all our weekends and evenings together. We took advantage of that to go to visit April, Jason, Ivy, and Corwin. Evie enjoyed playing with Ivy and was fascinated by Corwin who is crawling and fairly close to walking. She had so many questions about how he is learning to walk and why he can't talk yet.
Not a lot happening out of the normal for us this week, so I'll just share that one of my favorite things is that when Evie is having trouble falling asleep, she will turn on this little light in her room and look at books. It warms my heart.
