Yesterday, Evie got her real violin. She has been working so hard since January, doing all these finger postures, handshakes, bow holds, etc. and finally is getting to play the real thing.

Evie's now getting those /k/ and /g/ sounds in pretty regularly in short words. In fact, she's overgeneralizing and told me yesterday that she had a "goog gream" (good dream).
We are leaving today to go to Galveston to sail with Ryan and his family. Every morning, Evie's asked me if it's time to go on the boat yet. She's very excited to see Addie and Will. She told me, "My cousins are beautiful. They're also adorable." I wonder if she's maybe heard a few people say that before...
